The "Multimedia Distance Learning Center" was established in 1993, and has begun providing support for digital learning.

The former "Multimedia Distance Learning Center" was reorganized in 2007 as the "Teaching Resource Center" under the auspices of the Library and Information Division to deal with organizational changes, and continuously promote the development of digital teaching materials by purchasing related software and holding seminars.

In order to make full use of the efficiency of integration and enhance the quality of teaching and learning services for teachers and students, the Learning Resource Center, which was formerly under the auspices of the Library and Information Services Division, was merged into the Learning Development Center in 2008 under the supervision of the Academic Affairs Division, which is responsible for the implementation and evaluation of distance learning courses, as well as the continuous upgrading of e-Learning and e-Portfolio teaching software and hardware. The facilities for interactive teaching and learning are set up through the campus-wide wireless network environment and the overall planning of the e-learning platform, which utilizes e-learning technology to create a learning style and environment without having time, distance, or physical barriers, and to shorten the digital gap so that students can connect across campus and internationally anytime and anywhere.

In 2010, we were awarded a grant from the Teaching Quality Improvement Project, which focuses on cultivating students' practical skills.

This unit was awarded the Model Project Subsidy for English Teaching Features during the 2010-2011 academic year.

During the 2011-2012 academic year, we received grants from the Co-Educational Linkage and Employability Enhancement Program.

During the 2014-2015 academic year, were awarded NT$60 million in Teaching Excellence Project grants for 104-105.

In 2016, we received a grant of NT$28.5 million from the Continuation of Teaching Excellence.

During the 2019-2023 year, we  were awarded a NT$5.38 million grant from the Teaching Practice Research Program.

During the 2018-2022 year, we were awarded a NT$97.1 million grant from the Higher Education SPROUT Project .

During the 2023 year, we were awarded a NT$36.27 million grant from the Higher Education SPROUT Project .
